The Bolton Group is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team in Vermont. You will oversee core accounting functions including financial reporting, project accounting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting/forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with job costing and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting support.
• Assist leadership with financial insights and decision-making.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Monitor actual results against budget and analyze variances.
• Track and analyze job costs across construction projects.
