Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in construction or related industry.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze variances.
• Experience with job cost analysis, pay applications, and percentage‑of‑completion revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Review general ledger activity and financial statements; prepare accruals and journal entries.
• Lead monthly close process and maintain reporting timelines.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual workpapers and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and analyze variances.
• Support year-end close and external audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Review general ledger activity and financial statements; prepare accruals and journal entries
• Lead monthly close process and maintain accurate reporting timelines
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual workpapers
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances
• Reconcile intercompany transactions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support accounting processes
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in job cost activity
• Support year-end close and external audit processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within construction or a related industry
• Experience with job cost analysis, pay applications, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
• Sage 300 experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
