Overview

$95-$100k base + bonus

We are currently partnered with a construction organization who is looking for a Senior Project Accountant to join their team. This person would be joining a small tight knit team and would have responsibility for all GL and project accounting for the organization. This is a high visibility role where the Sr. Project Accountant works directly with the Controller and CFO of the organization to help improve accounting processes. A successful candidate enjoys working in a fast paced environment with minimal management oversight. Responsibilities

• Track and maintain all project accounting records including: percent to completion, WIP, revenue, project budget tracking and project variances
• Month end close activities, journal entries, cost accruals, reconciliations, prepaids, accruals and financial statement preparations
• Work directly with Controller to develop efficient accounting process

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting with 5+ years of professional accounting experience. 3+ years of experience in project accounting
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, percent to completion, WIP, EAC, owner billings and draw packages
