Job summary

CapMetro seeks a Program/Project Manager III, Operations Initiatives, to manage complex projects supporting the Operations capital improvement plan, operating expenditure plan, and strategic objectives. Reports to the COO and Executive VP and leads cross-functional teams to drive strategic outcomes.

The role requires proactive leadership, discipline in project management, and effective communication across stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience leading cross-functional projects and/or programs from initiation through completion.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite; Visio and SharePoint preferred.
• PMP certification from PMI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain project management deliverables, including scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk analysis, quality assurance, lessons learned, and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to achieve project outcomes.
• For programs, align, integrate, and control components and resources to meet goals.
• Track progress and provide status updates to leadership; report on milestones, risk, scope, schedule and budget.
• Assist in procurement processes, including statements of work, cost estimates, and governance documents.
• Collaborate with CapMetro leaders to keep solutions within scope, cost, and schedule.
