Job summary

Community Counseling Solutions is seeking an AmeriCorps Seniors Project Coordinator in Pendleton, OR. The role leads volunteer recruitment, community outreach, training, and program operations with field-based responsibilities and adherence to AmeriCorps grant requirements.

The position requires building relationships, coordinating volunteers across multiple counties, and spending substantial time in the community while reporting to the Project Director.

Responsibilities

• Represent the programs in the community by giving presentations, participating in meetings and conferences, and building local partnerships.
• Recruit, screen, place, and supervise volunteers to ensure successful assignments.
• Plan and organize volunteer meetings and events, including schedules and agendas.
• Support planning and coordination of program activities and maintain compliance with grants.
• Manage program communications including newsletters, social media, press releases, and media relations.
