Job summary

Chicken & Egg Films is seeking an Associate Director of Programs to lead a portfolio that includes the Eggcelerator Lab and Project: Hatched, with supervision of staff and collaboration with the Program Director. The ADP will shape strategy, manage budgets, engage filmmakers and funders, and serve as an ambassador in the documentary field.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mid- to senior-level experience in program leadership or a similar role.
• Experience managing grants, labs, and workshops to help filmmakers.

Responsibilities

• Shape program strategy with the Program Director and set priorities across initiatives.
• Oversee the Eggcelerator Lab program and other initiatives.
• Provide bespoke support to filmmakers on planning, funding, distribution, and industry connections.
• Ensure programs align with DEIA, anti-racism, and gender equity commitments.
• Participate in review processes and manage budgets for programs.
• Supervise staff and manage consultant relationships.
• Cultivate donor stewardship and engage with funders.
