Orange County Government seeks a senior IT Applications Developer to design, code, test, debug, and maintain complex software systems on-site in Orlando. You will work under the IT Project Leader, deliver high-quality databases, MS SQL queries, and provide after-hours support as needed.
Requirements include a BA/BS in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of relevant programming experience and strong .NET and SQL skills, plus excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Performs complex work; codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains applications/programs based on specifications provided. This is a senior level position in this career path. Work is performed with under the general supervision of the IT Project Leader. Performance is reviewed through observations, conferences, reports and achievement of desired results.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or closely related degree and three years of recent progressively responsible programming experience or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education or experience on a year for year basis.
Technical experience necessary includes .net development, good customer service, and excellent oral / written communication skills.
