Job summary
Severn Trent is seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex capital programmes across Water, Waste and Infrastructure. You will provide strategic leadership, develop high‑performing teams and ensure safety, efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
You will work within our Capital Delivery team with flexible office and home-working arrangements. The role requires proven leadership of large programmes, strong governance, and the ability to drive
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading large-scale engineering, construction, operational or capital programmes.
- Extensive experience managing portfolios of projects, programme budgets, resources and strategic risks.
- Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers and Project Coordinators.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with ability to build relationships across internal and external organisations.
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers and delivery partners to achieve programme outcomes.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of programme governance, financial management and project controls.
- Experience planning and managing long-term programmes of work and delivery strategies.
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and lead change across complex delivery environments.
