Job summary

Genius Sports seeks a Senior Media Trading Leader in the United States to oversee a media buying cluster, optimize campaigns, and drive client ROI across real-money gaming, sports betting and performance brands. You’ll report to the VP of Programmatic Trading and collaborate with teams in London, Tallinn and Medellín.

You will lead a team of traders, develop playbooks, shape bidding and supply strategies, and deliver detailed client reporting while maintaining high service standards in a hybrid,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in programmatic media buying or ad tech with leadership
• Deep expertise in DSPs/SSPs, ad exchanges, DMPs and data-driven trading
• Track record on lower funnel acquisition campaigns and ROI improvements
• Strong analytical skills for complex data sets and decisions
• Knowledge of Meta, Snap, X and Google Ads ecosystems
• Ability to manage accounts with varied activity types and complex setups
• Ability to run standard data queries for campaign insights

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and bandwidth of your media buying cluster.
• Coach traders through live optimization decisions to drive growth and independence.
• Lead onboarding and training for new traders; escalate complex campaigns.
• Maintain high-quality client communications and issue resolution.
• Develop playbooks and processes to scale the business across clusters.
• Drive campaign architecture, bidding and supply strategies for large accounts.
• Create campaigns using data, audience segments, assets and targeting.
• Collaborate with global media planners for tailored campaign plans.
• Analyze data, diagnose CPA/ROAS gaps and improve inventory serving patterns.
• Prepare insightful client reports and weekly deep dives.
