Job summary

Steele County in Minnesota seeks an Adult and Family Services Program Supervisor to lead and supervise adult and family services programs and staff. The role plans, implements and evaluates programs and supports strategic initiatives for a service-oriented department.

Responsibilities include ensuring program quality, staff recruitment and development, and assisting with budgeting. This position is full-time and on-site with opportunities to contribute to county and community health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in behavioral or social sciences, business administration, nursing, social work, public administration or closely related field.
• Three to five years of adult services, disability services, county or state human services experience
• One year of experience working in a lead, supervisory or management capacity
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Supervise the adult and family services programs and staff.
• Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating the adult and family services programs and strategic plans.
• Develops and maintains a service-oriented approach and creatively supports the quality initiatives of the department, county and community.
• Support the department in the maintenance of a healthy work culture by recruiting, training and developing staff.
• Assist the manager and director with the adult and family services budget and related work as assigned.
