Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Program Security Officer to support classified programs in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves implementing and administering security requirements in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.

The ideal candidate will hold a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, 4+ years of related experience (or 2+ years with a Master’s), and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in security or related field (or Master's with 2+ years).
• Experience in industrial, program, or government security settings.
• Strong ability to interpret and apply security requirements and regulations.
• Experience drafting/maintaining security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer security operations for assigned classified programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual requirements.
• Interpret and apply regulatory and contractual security requirements; research complex security matters and elevate issues as needed.
• Draft, review, and maintain internal security policies and SOPs for the program.
• Manage program security requirements: access authorizations, notifications, document control, and safeguarding procedures.
• Serve as security point of contact for management, government customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and improve security processes; support assessments and provide guidance to security personnel.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
