Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Program Security Officer 2 to join our team in the Colorado Springs, CO area. This role focuses on safeguarding government and program information, advising security officers, and ensuring compliance with applicable directives.

Responsibilities include classification management, information systems and personnel security, and risk-based guidance to customers and industry partners, with travel up to 25% as needed to support programs and directions from leadership.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with years of security experience is required.
• Experience providing risk-managed security recommendations to programs.
• Familiarity with ICD 503 and 705 and relevant directives.

Responsibilities

• Provides advice and assistance on security issues to government and program security officers in different locations.
• Manages classification, program security, information systems security, personnel security, and physical security guidance.
• Conducts briefings and indoctrinations for diverse audiences and presents actionable security recommendations to leadership.
• Assists in developing security policies and implementation procedures.
• Travel domestically and OCONUS up to 25%.
