Job summary

MANTECH in El Segundo, CA seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Program Protection Security Specialist to join our team. You will identify CPI, conduct threat assessments, and implement countermeasures to protect national security interests within Space Systems Command.

Responsibilities include CPI identification, threat assessments, security requirement incorporation into procurement, PPIPs analysis, and compliance with ITAR and CCL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, IT Security, or related field; or equivalent additional experience (4 years).
• 7+ years of related experience as a security specialist or in other related security areas.
• 1+ year of specific experience with NSSL, Launch/Range, DoD, NASA, or industry equivalent security programs.
• Familiarity with guiding security policies including DoDI 5000.83, DoDM 5200.45, DoDI 5200.39, DoDI 8510.01 (RMF), and AFI 10-701.
• Experience working across large teams to drive a security agenda and performing technical analysis of security implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Executing CPI identification and criticality analysis for PPP annexes.
• Conducting threat and vulnerability assessments and implementing countermeasures.
• Supporting Launch Services Acquisition by incorporating security requirements into statements and RFP components.
• Performing technical analysis of PPIPs and evaluating protection methodologies.
• Evaluating security waivers and deviations per contracts, acquisition plans, and SCG.
• Reviewing program documentation for public release to ensure ITAR/CCL compliance.
• Supporting OPSEC, INFOSEC, Physical Security, and DD254 processes.
