Job summary

MANTECH seeks a highly capable Program Security Officer 3 in the Chantilly, VA area to safeguard government programs and information systems. You will advise, classify, and implement security controls, supporting program managers and leadership with risk-based recommendations.

Travel up to 25% domestically and abroad; you will work with ICD 503/705 and NISPOM policies, delivering briefings and shaping security policy across multiple audiences.

• Experience offering risk-managed security recommendations to program managers.
• Familiarity with ICD 503 and 705 and related directives.
• Knowledge of intelligence/community directives and NRO instructions.
• Understanding of program protection methodologies and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on security issues to government and program security officers across locations.
• Manage classification, program security, information systems security and physical security guidance.
• Conduct briefings and indoctrinations for diverse audiences.
• Deliver recommendations on security issues to leadership and directors.
• Assist in developing security policies and procedures.
• Travel domestically and OCONUS up to 25%.
