Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Program Scheduler to support the Engineering & Advanced Hypersonics Division and the Corporate EVM COE. The role drives Integrated Master Schedule development, aligns technical execution with resources, risks, and objectives, and interfaces with program leadership and government customers.

The position requires DoD Secret clearance, expert scheduling practices, and independent work with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years, or Master’s with 10+ years in Aerospace & Defense scheduling or equivalent experience.
• Recognized expertise in programmatic scheduling and EVM principles with track record on large programs.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Project and scheduling analytics.
• DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with SSI Tools for MS Project.
• Strong command of advanced scheduling practices including CPM, risk modeling, and baseline change control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integrated Master Schedule development and maintenance per EIA-748 standards.
• Partner with EVMS team and program staff to influence decisions and optimize performance.
• Prepare IPMDAR deliverables with schedule, performance and narrative for government customers.
• Develop schedule recovery plans and executable mitigation strategies when milestones are at risk.
