Job summary

Leidos seeks a Principal Program Scheduler to support the Engineering & Advanced Hypersonics Division within the Kinetic Effects Business Area. The role will develop and manage the Integrated Master Schedule, drive scheduling solutions, and maintain alignment among technical execution, resources, risks, and program objectives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of aerospace & defense scheduling experience.
• Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Recognized expertise in programmatic scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Project.
• DoD Secret Clearance.
• SSI Tools for Microsoft Project expertise.
• Strong CPM and schedule health analysis with earned value integration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scheduling leader shaping program strategies.
• Partner with EVMS team, PMs, IPT leads, and technical staff to optimize performance.
• Author IPMDAR including schedule, performance, and narrative deliverables for government reporting.
• Develop schedule recovery plans and mitigation strategies.
• Work independently with minimal oversight.
• Present schedule insights and what-if scenarios to senior stakeholders.
• Explain schedule analysis with a cost-informed perspective.
• Build and maintain IMS compliant with EIA-748 standards and industry practices.
• Lead Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) and mitigation actions.
• Implement scheduling rhythms and controls.
• Develop scheduling artifacts meeting contractual requirements.
• Interface with program leadership.
