Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Program Scheduler to lead integrated master schedules for complex space programs. You will collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance to drive schedule planning, maintenance, reporting, and execution.

You will develop schedules, baselines, and performance analyses to support program reviews and customer requirements, ensuring schedule integrity and timely delivery of milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, operations management, finance, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of program scheduling, integrated master scheduling, and project planning principles.
• Experience developing integrated master schedules, schedule baselines, forecasting models, and schedule performance analyses for complex programs.
• Strong understanding of critical path methodology, schedule risk analysis, earned value concepts, resource planning, and project lifecycle management.
• Experience evaluating schedule performance, identifying schedule risks, and developing recovery strategies that support program objectives.
• Experience leading cross-functional scheduling activities while balancing program priorities, customer milestones, and organizational objectives.
• Demonstrates sound judgment when leading scheduling activities, resolving complex scheduling challenges, and supporting strategic program decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Scheduling and project management tools, e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Open Plan, or equivalent applications.
• Data analysis and collaboration tools, e.g. Power BI, SharePoint, Jira, or equivalent applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated master schedules, schedule baselines, and planning methodologies for complex programs.
• Evaluate scope, WBS, resources, milestones, and dependencies to create executable schedules.
• Conduct schedule planning meetings and baseline reviews.
• Lead integrated schedule management across multiple functions.
• Evaluate schedule performance, critical path, variances, forecasting, and risks.
• Validate schedule integrity via health assessments, baselines, forecasting, and recovery planning.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, contracts, and production.
• Develop schedule reports, dashboards, and metrics for program reviews.
• Coordinate reviews, customer meetings, and cross-functional planning with schedule guidance.
• Manage scheduling documentation and baselines.
• Evaluate processes and opportunities to improve execution.
• Develop improvements to enhance accuracy, forecasting, reporting, and coordination.
