Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. seeks a senior Operations Manager to plan, budget, and schedule organizational activities and coordinate allied departments to meet business objectives.

This role translates priorities into actionable plans and oversees a broad range of operational targets with an eye toward cost, schedule, and quality. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage resources, ensure policy compliance, and maintain security clearances as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning and scheduling, and monitoring/reporting on these activities.
• Strong leadership, communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and coordination of operational plans, budgets, and schedules for the organization.
• Lead efforts to improve operations through integrated processes and standardized management practices.
• Serve as liaison between program/project management, project teams and admin services on high-importance matters.
• Develop operating procedures aligned with strategic objectives and admin processes.
• Conduct operational reviews of cost, structure, productivity, and delivery methods to meet targets.
• Monitor progress and solve problems with program managers and teams within policy.
