Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Redondo Beach, CA, is seeking a Program Planning Manager – Level 2 to lead Earned Value scheduling, oversee SRAs, and drive program baseline reviews for a range of space programs.

The role requires a DoD Top-Secret/SCI clearance, 8+ years of relevant experience (or 6+ with a Masters), leadership, and hands-on scheduling tool expertise (MS Project/Open Plan/PS3/Cobra/Acumen Fuse), with on-site work and some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Extensive EVMS experience and scheduling background with key tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate EVMS scheduling process, tools and training for programs as a Scheduling Management representative.
• Ensure internal/external best practice program planning and scheduling support.
• Assist with high-quality baseline reviews, SRAs, health metrics and deliverables.
• Provide startup support and recommendations for program coordination and kickoff packages.
• Aid program planning to hit annual team goals and fortify data.
• Coordinate setup and use of automated scheduling tools to build IMS files.
• Disseminate guidance on schedule analysis, critical path and SRAs.
• Support major proposal and pipeline reviews.
• Collaborate with functional leadership to integrate team efforts.
