Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Linthicum, MD seeks a Program Planning Manager – Level 2 to join the team. You will oversee the Earned Value scheduling process and deliverables for space programs, coordinating with cross-functional leaders to ensure accurate baselines.

Requires extensive EVMS experience, proficiency with scheduling tools (MS Project/Open Plan), and prior leadership of scheduling teams. Competitive compensation and benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years without a degree.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining an EV schedule using standard tools.
• Strong MS Excel and Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the EV scheduling process and tooling for programs.
• Ensure best-practice program planning and scheduling support.
• Develop baseline artifacts, SRAs, health metrics, and reports.
• Support kickoff packages and program startup coordination.
• Coordinate automated scheduling tools for IMS files.
• Provide guidance on schedule analysis and reporting including critical path and SRAs.
