Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a Principal Program Planner to join the Program Excellence group. The role focuses on developing and managing Integrated Master Schedules, performing schedule risk analyses, and supporting DoD program planning in a hybrid/remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities include IMS preparation, narrative analyses for RFPs, and leading IBRs while ensuring compliance with IPMR/IPMDAR. Strong CPM and MS Project skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in DoD Program Planning and CPM.
• 6 years in Program/Master Planning and Scheduling with degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of US Govt. schedule policies, PASEG and EVMS requirements.
• Experience developing IMS for baselines and proposals per SOW/IMP.
• Ability to perform SRAs and schedule health analyses.
• Experience with program replans (SPAs).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of the Performance Measurement Baseline.
• Provide schedule performance analysis to teams and leadership.
• Develop proposal schedules and narrative analyses for RFPs.
• Lead IMS preparation and team training for IBRs.
• Perform independent schedule assessments for Phase/Gate reviews.
• Conduct Schedule Risk Analyses (SRAs) and Monte Carlo analyses.
• Brief stakeholders on SRA results and recommendations.
• Support training, tool evaluation and process improvements.
• Manage master schedule reports and ensure policy compliance (DiD 81861 IPMR/IPMDAR).
