Job summary
BAE Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director of Program Capability to lead enterprise program management capabilities within Combat Mission Systems. The role focuses on establishing processes for proposal execution, program management standards, knowledge management, and performance metrics, reporting to the Sr.
Director of Program Excellence. Travel 10-25%; hybrid work with 3 days onsite weekly across multiple CMS locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required with 12 years of experience or equivalent.
- Secret security clearance is required.
- Experience leading, developing, and managing a high-performing team.
- Experience in knowledge management, training, and program management processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead proposal excellence, program management processes, training, and metrics.
- Develop goals, priorities, and development plans for the organization.
- Foster collaboration, continuous learning, accountability, and customer focus.
- Hire, onboard, and develop talent with expertise in program management, proposal operations, and training.
- Oversee enterprise program performance reviews and provide actionable insights to executives.
- Ensure EVMS compliance and continuous improvement of CMS processes.
