Job summary

BAE Systems, Inc. seeks a Master Planner/Scheduler to create and maintain complex IMS/IMP schedules guiding program execution. You will work with Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and WPMs to document tasks and forecast performance.

Role requires knowledge of Earned Value Management, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with planning software such as OpenPlan or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience. Work experience considered in lieu of formal education.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing compliant program schedules with detailed logic for management tool usefulness.
• Integrate schedules across finance, engineering, procurement, operations, manufacturing, and quality.
• Prepare IMS updates and reports for program management and customers.
• Monitor progress and develop recovery plans for variances.
• Analyze schedules for critical paths and EVMS/compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit IMS/IMP deliverables on time.
• Ensure schedules and deliverables meet internal and external requirements.
