Maximus is seeking a Business Manager to support the POTFF program, providing operational, financial, administrative, and stakeholder-management support for integrated human performance services that sustain SOF mission readiness, longevity, and performance. The role translates program priorities into disciplined execution across multiple performance domains.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum of five years in program management or contract administration.
• Experience budgeting, financial oversight, and cost control.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of federal contracting and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with government and industry stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and planning activities.
• Oversee large multi-project programs including staffing and direction.
• Create and execute project work plans and adapt to changing needs.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain master resource plans and documents.
• Baseline projects and capture historical metrics for forecasting.
• Review deliverables before presenting to management and customers.
• Apply PMI methodology and enforce project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and QA procedures.
• Minimize risk exposure and communicate project status.
• Coordinate vendor contracts, SLAs, and procurements.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
• Participate in drafting vendor contracts, SOWs, RFPs/RFIs, and requirements.
