Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Manager to support the POTFF program, delivering operational, financial, and stakeholder support across performance domains. The role emphasizes disciplined execution aligned with contract performance and government requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong budgeting and procurement background, and the ability to manage cross‑functional teams while maintaining compliance and security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years of program management or related experience within defense/government environments.
• Experience budgeting, financial oversight, resource planning, procurement, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, including planning activities and artifacts.
• Oversee multiple programs, handling planning, staffing, leadership, and control of activities.
• Create and execute project work plans, adjusting to changing needs.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities across teams.
• Develop and maintain resource plans and required project documents.
• Baseline projects and capture metrics for historical analysis and forecasting.
• Apply PMI standards and ensure project documentation is complete and stored properly.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Minimize risk and communicate project status to management and stakeholders.
• Lead vendor relations, contracts drafts, SLAs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
