Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Manager to support the POTFF program, delivering operational, financial, administrative, and stakeholder-management support for integrated human performance services that sustain Special Operations Forces mission readiness, longevity, and performance. The Business Manager translates program priorities into disciplined execution across physical, psychological, cognitive, social and family, and spiritual performance domains U.S.

citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years in program management, contract admin, or related function in defense/government/regulated environment.
• Experience budgeting, financial oversight, resource planning, procurement, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and planning activities.
• Oversee large multi-project programs including planning, staffing, and control.
• Create and execute project work plans and adapt to changing needs.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain resource plans and project documents.
• Baseline projects, capture metrics, and forecast effort.
• Review team deliverables before presenting to management.
• Apply PMI methodology and enforce project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance.
• Minimize risk exposure on projects.
• Communicate project information to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve issues promptly and track closure.
• Ensure project documents are current and stored properly.
• Track lessons learned and apply to future projects.
• Close out projects properly.
• Supervise staff with direction and feedback.
• Escalate workload priorities and resolve issues.
• Coordinate for vendor performance and changes.
• Draft vendor contracts, SOWs, RFPs/RFIs, and requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
