Job summary

The position requires doctoral or master’s level training with 2+ years (or 5+ years with master’s degree) in a related field, plus experience in evidence synthesis and contracts management.

Responsibilities

• Assist unit, division, and department leadership in identifying and implementing strategic objectives for the Program.
• Manage a portfolio of evidence synthesis products including systematic reviews, rapid reviews, rapid responses, and evidence maps and visualizations; and lead in an area of innovation in evidence synthesis.
• Work with stakeholders and PCORI staff to determine priority topics for which research could improve decision making and patient outcomes.
• Use systematic and transparent approaches to gather, synthesize, and analyze literature.
• Oversee contractors’ work in developing evidence synthesis products and manage contracts and milestones.
• Identify and manage program activities that advance ESA and PCORI’s National Priorities.
• Collaborate with staff within the ESA team and across PCORI on program activities.
