The Senior Research Associate, Evidence Synthesis at the American Cancer Society leads the design, conduct, and dissemination of systematic evidence reviews to inform early cancer detection guidelines. This remote role supports CrEST and CECDS, mentoring staff and coordinating multiple projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in public health or related field with five years leading systematic reviews, HTAs, or rapid reviews.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in public health, health policy/services, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading systematic evidence reviews, health technology assessments, or rapid reviews.
• Experience with epidemiology, study design, and basic biostatistics.

Aufgaben

• Lead and conduct all stages of systematic evidence reviews, including protocol development, study selection, data abstraction, and synthesis.
• Critically evaluate quality and applicability of included research; assess strength of evidence for outcomes.
• Communicate findings; write presentations, reports, and manuscripts; review and edit sections written by team members.
• Manage relationships with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Oversee administration of reviews; delegate tasks and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Develop knowledge of cancer screening guidelines relevant to ACS topics.
• Use tools like DistillerSR, EndNote, and data visualization software; train team on these tools.
