Job summary

San Bernardino County is seeking a Behavioral Health Senior Program Manager in YCJIS to oversee CYCS programs and coordinate with Probation and CFS. The ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree in a related field, have 2+ years of senior management experience, and excel in leadership, data analysis, and interagency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in behavioral science/health, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Two years of full‑time management experience in behavioral health with multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Experience with budgets, contracts, procurement, and data analysis in complex systems.
• Knowledge of state/federal regulations and quality improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily admin and clinical operations ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ensure DHCS contract requirements are met and monitored.
• Supervise multiple program managers and their teams across CYCS/JJP.
• Develop and implement strategic plans with partner agencies.
• Manage staff performance, provide guidance, and facilitate training.
• Collaborate with Probation/CFS on jointly implemented programs.
