Job summary

San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Program Manager II to lead the Quality Management unit within the Program Support Services Division. The role focuses on quality improvement, compliance with state and contract requirements, and preparing key reports.

The ideal candidate will direct complex programs, coordinate with the Department of Health Care Services, and lead audits with external partners, guiding staff and ensuring health equity

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in behavioral science, human services, social work, psychology, or closely related field.
• Eligibility for CA licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
• Experience directing quality improvement and reporting activities in a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct a wide range of quality management activities and identify quality improvement projects.
• Chair the Quality Improvement and Health Equity Committee (QIHEC) and coordinate with internal staff and external partners.
• Prepare and review state-required reports and coordinate audits (EQRO and DHCS).
• Serve as liaison between the department and external agencies including DHCS and HSAG; lead annual EQRO and DHCS audits.
