Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Program Manager III in the Transplant Diagnostics division to lead cross-functional projects from concept to market, ensuring RUO/IVD products meet scope, schedule, and resources with design control and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance to drive robust product development and ROI while maintaining clear stakeholder communication and timely decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences or engineering.
• Experience leading teams without direct authority.
• 4 years experience developing life-science products under design control using a standard stage-gate process.
• Experience developing RUO and IVD assays including clinical study performance.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project core teams, conduct regular project meetings, capture action items, supervise deliverables, develop and maintain schedules, and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing Sciences, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and other partners to develop high quality products and financial models with ROI consideration.
• Maintain clear communication lines across teams, provide regular updates to executives, resolve barriers and facilitate decision making for timely completion.
• Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to maintain compliance, quality, and execution.
• Identify and champion opportunities for process and procedure improvements.
