Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Program Manager III to drive project execution in the Transplant Diagnostics division. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage schedules, and ensure product quality and regulatory alignment as you advance RUO and IVD products from concept through launch.

The role requires a strong background in life sciences or engineering, plus experience with design controls and stage-gate processes.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience leading life-science product development projects under a standard stage-gate process from conceptualization to launch.
• Experience developing RUO and IVD assays, including clinical study performance, preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project core teams, conduct regular project meetings, capture action items, supervise deliverables, develop and maintain schedules, and report to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing Sciences, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and other partners to develop high quality products meeting customer needs and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain clear communication across teams, provide updates to executives, resolve barriers to execution, and facilitate decision making for timely completion.
• Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to maintain compliance, product quality, and execution.
• Identify and champion opportunities for process improvements in day-to-day operations.
