Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Senior Consultant for Senior Program Manager/Technical Project Manager roles in the San Francisco Bay Area. This onsite position requires commuting to the SF Bay Area office up to 5 days a week and a track record leading complex, multi-workstream technology transformations.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into structured delivery plans, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methods.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of consulting experience leading technology projects and business transformation initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions and intelligent automation.
• End-to-end project lifecycle knowledge from business case through planning, execution, deployment and operations.
• Strong technical foundation across enterprise applications, cloud technologies, integrations, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and VS Code.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large, multi-workstream initiatives across domains (data, cloud, AI).
• Translate ambiguous challenges into structured delivery strategies and execution plans.
• Manage cross-functional teams including business, product, technology, operations, vendors, and executives.
• Lead multiple complex concurrent projects with multiple workstreams or transformation programs.
• Partner with senior client leaders to define success metrics and scalable ways of working.
• Manage interdependencies, risks, and priorities while guiding decisions.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Establish and scale governance, processes, and delivery standards.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methods based on client context.
• Develop AI solutions and incorporate AI-enabled tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Planner, Smartsheet) for planning and reporting.
• Mentor teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational alignment.
