Job summary

Slalom in Los Angeles/Orange County is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead large, multi-workstream technology projects. The role focuses on translating ambiguity into structured delivery plans and managing cross-functional teams across domains such as data, cloud, and AI.

You will partner with senior client leaders to define metrics, governance, and scalable delivery approaches while overseeing budgets, risks, and resource planning.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of consulting experience leading technology projects and business transformation initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with AI-enabled projects or digital transformation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large, multi-workstream initiatives across domains (data, cloud, AI).
• Translate ambiguous challenges into structured delivery strategies and execution plans.
• Manage cross-functional teams including business, product, technology, and vendors.
• Oversee multiple complex projects with several workstreams and portfolios.
• Partner with senior client leaders to define success metrics and scalable processes.
• Manage interdependencies, risks, budgets, and resource planning.
• Establish governance and delivery standards for consistent outcomes.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methods based on client context.
• Leverage Jira, MS Project, Planner, and Smartsheet for planning and reporting.
• Mentor teams and drive organizational alignment.
