Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a sustainment program within the Emerging Programs Directorate. You will manage customer interactions, proposals and negotiations, and cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Operations, Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, Finance, and Contracts.

The role emphasizes profit and loss accountability, risk and opportunity management, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 10+ years of relevant experience may be required.
• Advanced degree in a related field with 17+ years’ experience preferred.
• Program management or leadership experience required.
• Experience with reporting metrics through EAC reviews and/or customer PMRs.
• Experience managing proposals, negotiations, and/or BOEs.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government clearance required prior to start; ability to obtain program access after start.

Responsibilities

• Understand and represent customer needs to leadership while maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Accountability for profit, loss, EAC inputs, and program execution including risk, cost, quality and schedule.
• Set program priorities; resolve conflicts and support reviews with leadership and the customer(s).
• Provide leadership to a cross-functional team across Raytheon sites.
• Identify problems and support solutions, including resource allocation and execution.
