Job summary

R.W. Mercer Co. is seeking an experienced Program Manager on a full-time contract basis in San Jose, CA. The PM will plan, coordinate, and deliver complex programs aligned with organizational priorities and business objectives.

The role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets and schedules, and communicating with executives. Remote or hybrid work options may be available based on program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of program/project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid PM approaches.
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, or similar cert is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple programs from initiation to completion.
• Develop program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, technology, product, marketing, finance, and other functions.
• Establish program priorities aligned with strategy and business needs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and dependencies, and mitigate issues.
