Job summary

Duke University Office of Information Technology seeks a Senior Program Manager, Special Programs to shape transformative learning experiences connecting students with real-world tech projects, researchers, and industry partners.

You will lead Code+ operationally while supporting Duke's Special Programs like DTech and Data Fellowship, partnering with faculty and industry to create impactful opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, Business, Education, or related field.
• Minimum five years of program management, technology programs, experiential learning, or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of software development, AI, cybersecurity, data science, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operational lead for Code+ and support the Special Programs portfolio.
• Collaborate with faculty, researchers, industry partners, and students to create project opportunities.
• Translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
