Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Software Deployment and Integration services team, focusing on Command Center projects for public safety customers. The role requires leading multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation across large deployments.

The position is remote in the United States with 75% travel and a background clearance requirement for government work.

Qualifications

• ~5+ years of Public Safety, Project Management, or Program Management experience managing complex deployments and/or software application deployments for State and Local Public Safety government agencies.
• Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers.

Responsibilities

• Defines and develops program scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets and metrics for large projects and/or portions of complex projects.
• Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance.
• Communicates with key customer stakeholders.
• Identifies and mitigates risks; develops and implements risk mitigation plans.
• Allocates project staff with required competencies to meet project objectives.
• Proactively gathers lessons learned throughout the project.
