Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Sales Abuse Prevention team to build mechanisms that detect and eliminate fake reviews and stand up processes around abusive brand-building. You will partner with engineering, data science, legal, and other groups to develop automated and manual detection systems and improve workflows.

You must drive change, interpret data for action, and ensure your work improves the shopping experience for tens of millions of Amazon customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the program planning and execution of (1) proactive abuse prevention, (2) reactive abuse mitigation using the framework: Measure, Detect, Investigate, Enforce, handle Appeals and cleanup-abuse. (M-DIEAC), and (3) discover new and emerging forms of abuse.
• Deep dive current process to identify gaps and use program management best practices to set a roadmap, execute and iterate to continuously improve
• Lead ambiguous and undefined problems to resolution in constantly changing, multi team-based environment, work backwards from customer needs to deliver high quality outputs
• Communicate effectively across multiple levels of organization, building trust, generate buy-in for the program vision both internally and with key external partners
• Define creative, high quality, simple program roadmaps based on program strategy and vision
• Work closely and collaboratively with design, program and product teams from partner organizations
• Delivering results in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while driving teams to complete goals
