Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Principal, Project Manager for NGJ-LB program. The role directs complex test planning and execution, coordinating with PMA-234, VX-23, VX-9, and EA-18G units to ensure milestones and safety for developmental and operational tests.

The position requires strong cross-functional leadership, experience in DoD acquisition or flight test, and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; travel up to 75% is expected to Pax River, China Lake, Point Mugu, and other sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of related experience, or graduate degree with 10 years; equivalently 16+ years if no degree.
• Minimum 5 years supporting DoD acquisition programs or flight test activities.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Naval Aviation test processes and fleet environments.
• Minimum 3 years leading complex cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs complex test planning and execution to support milestones and customer commitments.
• Interface with PMA-234, Naval test community, and fleet stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional integration and align aircraft, personnel, and test resources.
• Lead readiness reviews, technical reviews, and data reporting.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and government partners.
