Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks an experienced Program Manager to oversee Navy submarine programs, coordinating between PMS 397, PMS 450, PMS 351 and SEA 05Z. The role requires extensive DoD acquisition leadership, strong scheduling and budgeting skills, and a Secret clearance.

Qualified candidates will have 15+ years in program management, 10+ years in ACAT1D, and proven leadership of a multi-disciplinary DoD team. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of program/project management experience in large, multi-year programs.
• At least 10 years in DOD ACAT 1D acquisition program management.
• Proven experience leading a multi-faceted DOD acquisition team.
• Minimum 2 years of direct Program Manager experience.
• Subject matter expertise in Navy submarine Combat Systems.
• BS/BA in a technical or managerial discipline preferred.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain/hold a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall planning and direction of major programs and research initiatives with significant agency impact.
• Define and negotiate program resources with activity and agency personnel.
• Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, and budgets/costs.
• Formulate, guide, and direct the technical approach of the program.
• Lead cross-functional teams across submarine program offices to ensure successful execution.
