General Dynamics - Bath Iron Works is seeking a Sr. Project Manager, Programs to support the DDG 1000 PY contract in Bath, ME. You will ensure safety, quality, and performance while coordinating with the Program Office, Design & Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to meet milestones.

The role requires strong leadership, travel (1–2 weeks), and the ability to present reports to stakeholders. A technical or business Associate’s degree is expected, with an undergraduate degree preferred

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in technical or business discipline; five years of surface combatants experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree is preferred; strong project management skills required.
• Experience coordinating across Program Office, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety leadership and ensure safe practices across the project.
• Coordinate program execution to meet cost, schedule, and quality goals.
• Develop and present weekly design and materials status reports and program updates.
• Monitor functional area performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Travel 1–2 weeks for program reviews and planning conferences.
