Job summary

General Dynamics Bath Iron Works in Bath, ME is seeking a Front Line Supervisor for Pipefitting to lead pipefitting operations. You will mentor mechanics, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and coordinate with BOS and area management to meet ship/unit construction milestones.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of pipefitting experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Graduate Apprentice preferred; familiarity with MACPAC systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; Graduate Apprentice preferred.
• 2 years' experience in pipefitting.
• Solid understanding of shipbuilding or manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage conflicts.
• Experience supervising in a production environment preferred; MACPAC knowledge is a plus.
