Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking a seasoned Program Manager for the MQ-9 Training Systems team in Poway, CA.

The role leads the team delivering GA-ASI’s training devices, including the SkyGuardian Mission Trainer, and manages budgets, schedules and customer communications. The position requires advanced engineering or related field education with extensive program administration experience, strong leadership and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in engineering, science or a related technical field with 11+ years of program administration experience.
• Demonstrates program management principles, leadership and planning skills.
• Must coordinate technologies across program requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate MQ-9B training product demand and deconflict resources and timelines.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project staff.
• Communicate project expectations to team and stakeholders.
• Create project plans and manage resources to meet schedule, budget and quality goals.
• Oversee project schedules, milestones and delivery.
• Manage CAE subcontract for next generation simulation effects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver new or upgraded products/services.
• Prepare status reports, proposals and requirements documentation.
