Schedule: 980 schedule

Focus: The Project Manager is responsible for proposing, planning, executing, and finalizing large, complex projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Essential Job Functions

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree* in an Engineering, Technical, or Business related field.
• 5+ years recent relevant experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Experience working in a small or medium caliber ammunition manufacturing facility preferred.
• Prior work with USG or Department of Defense customers preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of preparing financial statements and or project proposals.
• Some travel may be required, less than 10%.

Location-Specific Requirements

Must possess a valid US driver's license. This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The US Government does not allow non-US citizens on-site at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a US citizen.
