Job summary

The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Program Manager for the Integrated Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) to lead program execution onsite, coordinating with customers and stakeholders. This senior role requires strong DoD program experience and a Secret clearance, with responsibility for cost, schedule and technical baselines across the program life cycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a role requiring program management skills to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met.
• 5+ years of experience on a Department of Defense weapon program.
• 5+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders.
• 5+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools.
• 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for execution and performance of the IFPC Program; includes Phase 2 program scope for design maturation and demonstration as well as competitive capture of follow‑on phases for Production.
• Manages employees and mid‑level managers performing business management activities in the area of Program Management.
• Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid‑level managers.
