Job description

Title: Senior Program Manager HR
Location: New York (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Description:
  • We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a critical, high-visibility organizational transformation initiative. This strategic leader will orchestrate decisions across the executive suite, design new operating models, and drive change management.
  • You will manage complex, dependent workstreams, track value delivery, and ensure long-term strategic alignment across our technology organization.
  • In addition to Program Management duties this individual will lead a critical, high-visibility organizational restructuring initiative involving offshoring, outsourcing, and organizational redesign. Operating as a strategic hybrid resource (70% Program Management / 30% HR Transformation Support), this individual will serve as the central operational lead.
  • The role will provide heavy delivery capacity and specialized expertise that materially reduces the tactical workload of the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team.
  • By owning the administrative and coordination mechanics of workforce planning, org design tracking, and implementation readiness, this resource will free up HR leaders to focus on high-level strategic decision‑making and talent alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead alignment and decisions among C-suite executives and senior leaders across technology, HR, and Finance.
  • Drive enterprise-wide organizational transformation and the hands‑on implementation of new operating models.
  • Design and execute organizational change management strategies to ensure smooth, lasting cultural and operational adoption.
  • Navigate and analyze complex financial models, tracking how these budgets and models evolve throughout the transformation lifecycle.
  • Define strategic KPIs and establish robust tracking mechanisms to measure and prove the value of delivered outcomes.
  • Manage multiple, highly dependent tactical workstreams, ensuring seamless integration and project planning execution.
  • Minimal travel to Michigan or New Jersey may be required
  • Develop and manage the integrated master transformation plan across all HR workstreams. Facilitate governance routines, maintain risks, issues, actions, and decision logs (RIAD), and drive accountability across stakeholders. Develop executive‑level dashboards and steering committee presentation materials.
  • Provide hands‑on coordination for organizational design activities, future‑state structures, and position mapping. Actively manage workforce impact tracking, including roles transitioning offshore, outsourcing vendor transitions, and reduction‑in‑force (RIF) actions.
  • Directly own talent mapping coordination, selection decision logs, and the tracking/development of updated job descriptions and role profiles to shield the HRBP team from administrative bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate readiness checklists across HR, Legal, Finance, and Communications for each restructuring wave. Support outsourcing/offshoring transitions by tracking vendor milestones and knowledge transfer planning.
  • Execute a comprehensive communications strategy and calendar in partnership with Corporate Communications and OCM, ensuring leaders, managers, and impacted employee populations are fully supported with toolkits, FAQs, and talking points.
Qualifications:
  • 10 years' experience in enterprise‑level program management, specifically leading large‑scale organizational transformations.
  • 5 year's experience working directly with HR, Finance, and C‑suite leaders within complex technology environments.
  • 5 years' direct experience supporting large‑scale workforce transformations, organizational redesigns, shared services setups, or reduction‑in‑force initiatives.
  • 3 years' experience tracking and coordinating offshoring transitions, outsourcing models, vendor management, and knowledge transfer execution.
  • Strong familiarity with HRBP operational workflows, talent selection processes, and employment compliance structures.
  • Exceptional influence skills with the ability to drive alignment, actions, and outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong financial acumen and deep experience with KPI definition and outcome‑based value tracking.
