Hydrogen Group is partnering with a leading global investment firm to hire an experienced Project Manager for People Systems & Operations in Denver. Hybrid work is offered as you lead HR technology initiatives across a global organization, overseeing complex, cross-functional projects and vendor relationships.

The role focuses on translating business needs into clear plans, managing data migrations, and delivering end-to-end HR systems solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management or business transformation experience.
• Strong experience delivering HR technology implementations or upgrades.
• Sound understanding of HR systems and operational processes.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects involving HR and Technology.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor-management capabilities, including UAT and release planning.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Compensation, Recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end People Systems / HR Technology initiatives.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, HRBPs, Technology teams, and vendors.
• Translate business needs into requirements, process maps, and roadmaps.
• Manage scope, milestones, risks, budgets, and communications.
• Lead solution-design workshops, UAT, release planning, and change management.
• Support M&A integrations from a People Systems and Operations perspective.
• Manage employee and organizational data migrations.

I'm partnering with a leading global investment management organization to hire an experienced Project Manager - People Systems & Operations to lead strategic HR technology and transformation initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of People, Technology, and Operations, with responsibility for delivering complex HR systems projects across a global organization. The contract duration is 12 months with potential for extension for post delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Lead end-to-end People Systems / HR Technology initiatives
• Partner with HR, Payroll, HR Business Partners, Technology teams, and external vendors
• Translate business needs into requirements, process maps, project plans, and implementation roadmaps
• Manage project scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communications
• Lead solution-design workshops, UAT, release planning, and change management
• Support M&A integrations from a People Systems and Operations perspective
• Manage employee and organizational data migrations
• Drive multiple concurrent projects in a global environment

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of project management or business transformation experience
• Strong experience delivering HR technology implementations or upgrades
• Solid understanding of HR systems and operational processes
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving HR and Technology
• Strong stakeholder and vendor-management capabilities
• Experience with UAT, change management, and release planning Highly desirable
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly Employee Central, Compensation, Recruiting, and/or Enterprise Service Management
• HR systems experience supporting mergers & acquisitions
• Exposure to Snowflake, Power BI, or workforce analytics platforms
