Job summary

Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager in Long Beach to provide leadership for grant strategy, compliance, and development initiatives within the San Pedro Region.

You will oversee case management programs, supervise staff and volunteers, ensure contract and funder requirements are met, and collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality services across homelessness, housing, and community programs.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising case management staff and volunteers.
• Strong organizational and writing skills; able to manage multiple programs.
• Ability to ensure contract and funder compliance.
• Willingness to travel between regional sites.
• Experience coordinating with funders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee case management across multiple programs in the San Pedro Region.
• Provide administrative and clinical supervision for staff.
• Supervise, coach, train, and evaluate staff, volunteers, and interns.
• Maintain efficient program operations and foster teamwork across programs, sites, and departments.
• Monitor program requirements to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
• Complete and oversee required reports to funders, including program outcomes and grant information.
• Ensure case management documentation and data collection are complete and current.
• Review case notes and service plans for quality and compliance.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluation of direct staff.
• Monitor contract performance, billing, utilization, and contract goals.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and other departments to maintain audit readiness.
• Represent Catholic Charities at funder and partner meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources to support staff and participants.
• Assist with crisis response and day-to-day operational needs.
