Job summary

The Building People seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead a DHS contract in Washington, DC. This on-site leadership role manages day-to-day contract support operations across multiple projects and personnel, ensuring deliverables meet specifications, budgets, and schedules.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of program management experience, a Bachelor's degree in business or related field, and the ability to obtain Top-Secret clearance.

• Ten years of project management or managerial experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operation of departments to ensure programs meet specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Proactively minimize delays in delivery and communicate with customers to align schedules.
• Recruiting and hiring for the project and staff management.
• Communicate with staff and subcontractors to organize meetings and resolve issues.
• Inform customers on program status and flag potential problems to management.
• Develop staffing, quality control, and transition plans; coordinate with CO/COR.
• Maintain staffing levels and report project status to the government as required.
• Possess clearance to obtain and maintain Top-Secret security clearance.
